"Pushing Positivity" was started two years ago (2010) with Nile Crawford, an optimistic “Sneakerhead” (one who shows a great passion and knowledge for collecting limited, rare, OG, exclusive shoes). Crawford displays his passion and ambition by positively helping others. Witnessing the negative influences that are corrupting our youth on a daily basis, Crawford decided to dedicate his time and energy into developing Pushing Positivity. Daily we see the story of a young driver in a car accident due to D.U.I, the teenage pregnancy rate in need of a revolutionary change, and the overwhelmingly increasing use of drugs in today's society. Through Pushing Positivity, Crawford hopes to provide a program to unite individuals as a whole to help promote positivity. "Adjusting the present to envision a brighter future".

Hello im Chris, im a senior at American Heritage High School. I enjoy Football, photography, motivating my peers, and 
collecting kicks! Nile and I have been friends for sometime now, he is like the older brother I never had. We have always shared a passion for helping other, and he and I have been doing kick trades for the last 5 years! As teenagers majority of our friends & peers were doing things as far as drinking, smoking, partying, so Nile and I invested our time into learning every and anything involving (spotting out fakes, learning how to identify a shoe tag, making intelligent investments, camping out) kicks. Not to mention it was like a full time job, that kept us out of trouble! So when he came to me with Pushing Positivity I was all in !! Gianni is like a brother to Nile and myself, I have known him since he was an infant. Nile and I try to be  positive role models for him, at this day in age it is extremely easy to fall under the peer pressure of drugs and things in that nature. So just a year a year ago we got Gianni to pick up to "Sneakerhead" culture! He is more focused then we ever where at his age, and it keeps him busy and more importantly out of negativities way!

Hey, Im Gianni!! Im 14 years old, Im bilingual, and I attend Aspira Eugenio Maria De Hostos Charter School. I enjoy hanging with Nile & Chris (their like the older brothers I never had), sports, spending time with my family and along with Nile and Chris I too enjoy photography! Chris and Nile have been Sneakerheads for forever it feels like, so last June (2011) I felt like I wanted to finally be apart of the Sneakerhead culture. Chris & Nile have made me understand that being my age is a very fragile age to fall into negativity, which is why I stay focused on helping others and staying involved into Sneakerhead world. I don't feel like there are many young people my age trying to help the world become a better place to live in, so by me trying I hope I can impact others my age to want to help the world in a positive way.

hat's up I'm Omar, I'm 15 and I'm a Freshman (Class Of 2015) at Miami Senior High School. I really enjoy football & soccer, there both calming and relaxing to me. Gianni and I are very close friends, we have been trading/collecting sneakers since we met. As for Nile and Chris I really look up to them, and I consider team "Pushing Positivity" as my second family. I got in the "Sneakerhead" culture a little over a year ago (2011). Like the rest of the group I also enjoy photography. I try setting good examples to my younger family members on a daily basis to show them what's right and what's wrong. I want to show them and others the positivities of the world, and not the negativities.
